Junior Golf School

Updated classes for our 16th season!!! The Junior Golf School has developed into one of Minnesota's premier junior golf programs. Edinburgh USA's Junior Golf School was the "2005 Minnesota Junior Golf Program of the Year!" The school blends a variety of instructional topics, rules & etiquette, development of the core fundamentals and all in a FUN and exciting atmosphere! Each session is 5 weeks long. Receive a 10% discount if you register for both sessions by June 11.

New! for this season we have the SNAG golf training system.  This system helps those new to game adjust easily to the motions required to hit a golf ball and creates exciting games.  We have new games, skills contests, prizes and events for this season!  Each class will be divided into groups according to age and skill.  When registering please specify which group fits your child the best.  We will move kids up or down based on skills displayed in class.  Bogey level golfers are generally between the ages of 5 and 9, and have very limited to no experience with golf.  These students have had few if any lessons prior.  Clubs are not required.  Par level golfers are generally between the ages of 7 and 14. These students can make contact consistently and get the ball into the air on most strikes.  They have had lessons, attended our Junior Golf School previously or have experience hitting the ball prior to attending class.  Birdie level golfers are generally 12 or older.  These students have had previous lessons and/or have a sound foundation of the basic golf swings for full swing and putting. They also have some experience playing golf.

 

A weekly newsletter is emailed to parents updating the progress of the class, future happenings and special awards. Boys and girls ages 5 - 18 are welcome.  There are no makeup dates, if there is inclement weather, class will be held indoors.
